The National Exhibition and Convention Center (shanghai), with a total floor area of 1.47 million square meters, is jointly built by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government and invested and operated by Shanghai Expo Co., LTD. • Exhibition space

The complex has an exhibition area of 500,000 square meters, including 400,000 square meters of indoor exhibition halls and 100,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition halls. The indoor exhibition hall consists of 13 large exhibition halls with an area of 28,800 square meters and 3 small exhibition halls with an area of 10,000 square meters, which fully meets the needs of large and small exhibitions for exhibition space.

• Load-bearing capacity

The complex has a strong load-bearing capacity: the ground load of the first floor of the 5 double-layer structure of the large exhibition hall is 3.5T/㎡, the ground load of the second floor of the 5 large exhibition hall and 2 small exhibition hall is 1.5T/㎡, the ground load of the first floor of the north part of the 3 large exhibition hall and 1 small exhibition hall is as high as 5T/㎡, even the heavy machinery with high requirements for the bearing capacity of the exhibition hall can be easily loaded.

• Display space

In the north section of the first floor of the complex, except for one large exhibition hall with double-storey structure, the rest are single-storey column-free exhibition halls. The single-storey pavilion has a net height of 32 meters; The column network of the south section exhibition hall on the first floor is 27x36 meters, with a net height of 12 meters; The large exhibition hall on the second floor has a column net of 54x36 meters and a net height of 17 meters. The large display space allows exhibitors to give full play to achieve high-quality image exhibition.

The National Convention and Exhibition Center has designed an advanced transportation system, which divides people and vehicles, divides people and goods, and creates its own transportation system between various formats to ensure the exhibition layout, withdrawal and daily traffic safety.
